Blaidd Consultancy Limited exists to help education institutions pursue international programme licensing with confidence and care.
I’m Dave Henson, Founder of Blaidd. For more than a decade I’ve worked in education leadership, and international partnership development has been a defining part of my focus and success. I’ve built partnerships that have lasted close to ten years, and I’ve also seen licensing arrangements fail when standards, governance, and expectations weren’t clear from the outset.
That experience is why Blaidd is built around one principle: international licensing should strengthen institutional resilience, without compromising academic quality, governance, or long-term reputation.
Over the years we have supported programme licensing activity across the UK, the Middle East, China, and India. Our experience spans English language and foundation/pathway programmes, as well as short professional courses and higher education provision.
Today, Blaidd provides the platform for us to support universities, colleges, and private education providers delivering professionally focused academic programmes - often at a point where financial pressures are driving the need to explore new revenue streams.
